This is what we at Anatune do for a living, so we have a commercial interest in this topic. That said, we have a great deal of knowledge and we are willing to share it.
If you are an analytical chemist and you work with GC-MS or LC-MS (or straight HPLC or gas chromatography), sample preparation is where the job begins. If you have lots of samples, automation is where it ends up. So there should be something here for everyone.
