Job Title:  Sales Account Manager for Scotland, Analytical Instrumentation

Reporting To:  Chief Operating Officer

Company Background
Anatune is a supplier of automated solutions for chemical analysis, based in Cambridge, UK.

We have a vacancy for an Account Manager to be responsible for sales in Scotland.

This role offers the opportunity to work within a, successful, dynamic business with a strong team ethic and a commitment to excellent customer support and staff development.

The Sales Team
You will be working with a team of experienced account managers and as a member of this team; your mission will be to work with existing and prospective customers, to identify profitable business opportunities and ensure that customers are completely happy with their purchases.

Job Description
Your job is to build excellent relationships of trust with prospective customers and identify high quality, automated instrumental solutions to their analytical challenges.

You will be responsible for progressing these business opportunities and converting them into sales.

The job involves some travel within the UK every week, with some overnight stays plus occasional overseas travel.

Requirements of the Job
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ experience of working with GC-MS in an analytical laboratory, including at least 3 years’ in method development.

Experience in using GERSTEL instrumentation would be useful, but not essential.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a high level of inter-personal abilities are essential attributes for the job.

Candidates need, by nature, to be calm, clear thinking, practical individuals who enjoy and are good at problem-solving.

A high standard of personal organisation is essential.

The successful candidate will work from their home address.

Previous sales experience is not essential, as full training will be given.

A full, preferably clean, UK driving licence is required.
