Why Dispersive Liquid Liquid Micro Extraction? Why Now? A Watermation Workshop by Anatune
Posted on September 25th, 2018
The water industry uses liquid liquid extraction ubiquitously on everything from the water we drink to waste water. Recently, Anatune has seen an unprecedented rise in demand for ways to automate the technique.
Join us in Cambridge on the 27th and 28th November where we’ll run a workshop dedicated to the subject.
In our experience, there is a set of key drivers behind this increase in demand:
- The reduction of analyst exposure to solvents.
- A need to reduce solvent usage.
- The resulting increase in data quality.
- Improved reproducibility.
- The freeing up of valuable analyst time for method development and data analysis (rather than shaking separation funnels or pipetting).
The sensitivity of newer mass specs and the robustness of large volume injection have opened up a whole new area of methods, which now fall within the automation sphere.
The workshop will include a section dedicated to the method development of both liquid liquid extraction and dispersive liquid liquid micro extraction with examples for each.
You can see here what else we will be covering.
The workshop will be held at the Hotel Felix, Cambridge, and the cost for the 2 days is £120 + VAT per person. This includes all course material, lunch and refreshments for both days.
Places are limited, so book now to avoid disappointment.
