Success for Quality and Efficiency Themed Conference
Cambridge based Anatune, the UK's leading chromatography solutions company, hosted a successful third annual conference in early October.
With over 50 attendees from locations as far afield as the USA and Europe, the conference focused on ways of improving data quality and reducing costs through the use of automation in the laboratory. Alongside presentations from Anatune's application development staff, other leading companies in this field such as GERSTEL, Agilent Technologies and Entech Instruments, showed how new technologies can save on resources whilst improving the quality of results.
David Benanou of Veolia Water's Research facility in Paris gave the opening speech in which he discussed his innovative use of Stir Bar Sorptive Extraction for water quality measurements.
Lyndsay Howard of Eurofins Environmental Services said
There were varied talks from different industries sharing interesting ideas and new techniques. Down Hall is a beautiful setting for the meeting.
Anatune is already planning its 2010 conference, which will again be held at the stunning country house hotel, Down Hall at Hatfield Heath. Dates for 2010 have been set for the 5th and 6th October.
