Applications Blogs

As chromatography application chemists, we start with customer requirements and from these, develop packages of instrumentation, know-how and support, that get those customers running samples fast and with as little drama as possible.

Some projects are big and some are small, but all share one thing in common; success depends upon honest feed-back from customers like you - people who have to run real world samples every day of the week. The better and more diverse the feed-back we get - the better the solutions we will be able to create for you.

If we are doing anything that you find interesting, then follow our applications blogs, to keep up-to-date and feel free to participate with comments, ideas and questions. If you need to discuss something that is commercialy sensitive or confidential then you can contact any of us by 'phone or email and we will keep it confidential.

Best Regards

I Joined Anatune in August 2010. My main area of responsibility is to utilise innovative automation techniques to develop rapid and robust analytical solutions for GC and GC-MS to meet the application and business needs of customers. In essence, it is finding solutions to give laboratories a competitive edge. My favourite parts of the job are helping customers solve their analytical challenges using cutting-edge technology. I have worked in government and ISO17025 accredited industrial laboratories in fundamental and applied chemistry using analytical methods to identify novel ways of controlling insects, understanding the factors that drive food flavour and quality and chemical contaminant analysis. I understand how to use analytical data to support risk assessment and am an experienced technical and quality auditor.
