Agilent Environmental and Food User Meeting – 7th-9th February 2017, Manchester

This is always a brilliant meeting.

This will be the 16th occasion that this meeting has gone ahead, and my 5th in a row.  I’ve got to say, it keeps getting better and better each time I go.

As Anatune’s Water and Environmental Industry Specialist, its the meeting I look forward to going to the most in the calendar each year.  As soon as the ‘save the date’ email is out, it goes straight into the calendar.

The formal presentation content and their speakers are always of the highest quality, the workshops have no end of valuable information to gain from attending them, each of the posters on display are well worth a good read, and the technical exhibition will, no doubt once again be a focus point outside of the presentations.

Agilent and its partners always bring out their experts to these events, and should you want to find out more, they’re always happy to help you.

It’s a great forum to discuss your past experiences, plans, ideas and future strategies with like-minded delegates from your own industry.  It’s always great to see a conversation between delegates going on at the coffee stop, over a sandwich or at the social events.  Forming new relationships with others is something that this meeting has a proven track record of.  Collaborations have ignited at these meetings, and some of these make for the content for the following years event.

I’ve taken a look at the Agenda, and it looks like this promises to be the best event yet.  Some of the excellent work we’ve done this last year in collaboration with Agilent and our customers is featured in the programme; it’s always great seeing our customers showcasing what we’ve helped them to achieve.

Anatune are once again exhibiting this year and we’ll be bringing along a best-selling Dual Head MulitPurpose Sampler, which is becoming commonplace in combination with Agilent hardware in the Water and Environmental Labs.  This year, our focus is on Automation and Liquid-Liquid Extractions in Water and Environmental samples, and also Automation of Amino Acid protocols, so be sure to stop by to find out more.

If you haven’t registered yet, you can find a copy of the agenda here, and you can register here.

We hope to see you in Manchester in February; it will be well worth it.
